Creative individuals frame their experiences. Such people are highly ambitious, and they do not always succeed, by any means. But when they fail, they do not waste much time lamenting; blaming; or, at the extreme, quitting. Instead, regarding the failure as a learning experience, they try to build upon its lessons in their future endeavors. Framing is most succinctly captured in aphorism by French economist and visionary Jean Monnet: “I regard every defeat as an opportunity.

Toilet paper gets fabulously trendy, thanks to design guru Jonathan Adler.

How do you make toilet paper trendy? Was that a daunting task?It was! My goal is to design the world and I feel like everything can be better. I thought, “What a great way to take something so everyday and make it better.” I wanted to take some of the patterns from my high-end collection that are probably out of a lot of people’s price range and put them on products that are super-duper-affordable and accessible to everyone.
What’s the best way to display toilet paper?Proudly! They’re individual covers but they look awful nifty in a stack. I have a whole wall of them, so it looks very groovy and graphic and conceptual.

Challenge for today: “take something so everyday and make it better”
